"Health is Wealth"
I'm not a doctor, health guru or gym rat.
Now that that’s been established, here are some things I’ve been doing lately that make me feel better in my body. News flash, this does not include biohacking and peptides!
First, less screen time. Woah shocker. Unfortunately, the people are right when they say that less screen time will benefit you. I’ve gotten back into reading and therefore, have spent significantly less time in front of a screen than before. My sleep is better for it as well.
Speaking of sleep, I was recently gifted Clevr Sleepytime Super Latte, Dream Gummies, and Alice Nightcap. I have been trialing every couple of nights to see how it helps me sleep and feel the next day. The Clevr tea is so warm and comforting, but honestly kinda filling, especially with milk, so I’ve only been doing that if I had a light dinner. The chocolates are great too, a little sweet, I’m partial to dark chocolate usually, but I’ve been breaking apart the single piece and eating it with dates and nuts for a little reading snack at night.
In addition, I’ve been drinking peppermint tea mainly at night, and then in the morning, I have prepped ice cubes made from lemon juice, turmeric, and ginger, which I drink first thing with hot water.
Since we all turned Chinese this winter (iykyk), I’ve been steering away from cold drinks in general, because it couldn’t hurt to try, and honestly, I have been feeling better and less bloated. I try to limit my ice intake and stick to room temp when possible, how European.
For meals, I’m trying to increase protein and fiber whenever I can. The more colors on my plate, the better. My go-to salad is literally so simple and delish. Arugula, radish, cherry tomato, manchego cheese, lemon juice, and a sprinkle of quality olive oil with s&p. Top tier.
Outside of what I’m ingesting, I’m consistently maintaining my oral health with an electric toothbrush and mouthwash daily. I also clean my Invisalign every day. Oral health is so commonly overlooked, but it truly is so important to your overall health, especially your gut.
A body oil each night before getting into bed makes me feel like a little queen from pampering myself. Cyklar body oil is what I currently use. I want to try the Osea one next.
For working out, daily walks when I can, hot yoga every Sunday morning, and Pilates 2x a week. Obviously would love to be doing a class every single day, but my schedule does not always permit, and I love my sleep far too much to compromise on that. Some people only need 6 hours; I am not one of them!
Supplements: activated charcoal after a heavy meal, magnesium glycinate nightly for migraine management, regular potty breaks, and turmeric for inflammation.
While I would love to be able to tell you about my experience with peptides for longevity rather than weight loss, I’m a regular person who simply does not have the budget for peptides. How is everyone getting their hands on these compounds?! It makes me nervous to think of buying something like that off a website that isn’t coming from a doctor. Let alone injecting it myself…spooky.
Regardless, do what feels right for your body. Everything in moderation. Get sunshine, walk daily, and spend time with those you love. A healthy body is your biggest asset.

Less screen time is the medicine I think many of us are looking for, but so few are actually willing to try
It’s so grounded to see a routine focused on "European" room-temp water and arugula over expensive peptides. There is something so regal about a nightly body oil ritual—it’s the perfect way to actually enjoy being in your own skin.
